Terms of Service – IngressWard

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IngressWard ("Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

IngressWard is a software-as-a-service platform providing AI prompt filtering, normalization, and content moderation capabilities.

2. Description of Service

IngressWard provides automated tools designed to analyze, normalize, and filter user-submitted prompts and content for safety, policy compliance, and abuse prevention.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws.

You may not:

• Share API keys publicly.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits.
• Use the Service for illegal or malicious purposes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use IngressWard to:

• Facilitate illegal activity
• Generate or distribute malware
• Engage in harassment, hate speech, or exploitation
• Circumvent safeguards or abuse detection mechanisms
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5.1. Prohibited Use – Political Suppression

You may not use the Service to suppress, censor, or target lawful political expression, civic participation, or political viewpoints, including but not limited to voter suppression, targeted political harassment, or coordinated political censorship. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.

6. AI & Content Disclaimer

IngressWard does not generate content. It analyzes and filters content provided by you or your users.

You acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for the content you submit through the Service.
• IngressWard does not guarantee that all harmful, offensive, or malicious content will be blocked.
• IngressWard is not responsible for actions taken based on filtered or unfiltered content.

6.1. Security Limitations and Detection Disclaimer

IngressWard provides a sophisticated, actively maintained security layer designed to significantly reduce the risk of prompt injection, adversarial inputs, evasive content, and other prohibited material reaching your AI systems. As with all security software across the industry, you acknowledge and agree that:

• No security software guarantees complete detection. This is true of firewalls, antivirus software, WAFs, and AI content filters alike. Threat actors continuously develop novel evasion techniques — including homoglyph substitution, encoding schemes, foreign-language variants, and other obfuscation methods. IngressWard actively monitors and updates its detection capabilities on a best-efforts basis as new attack vectors are identified.
• The Service reduces risk — it does not eliminate it. This is the nature of all security tooling, not a limitation specific to IngressWard. IngressWard makes no warranty that the Service will detect every future or previously unknown evasion technique at the time of any given API request.
• False negatives and false positives. The Service may occasionally fail to block content that should be blocked, or block content that should be permitted. Neither outcome constitutes a breach of these Terms or gives rise to liability on the part of IngressWard.
• Content responsibility. You remain solely responsible for the safety and compliance of your application and for any harm arising from content that passes through the Service. IngressWard's detection capabilities do not transfer legal or regulatory responsibility from you to IngressWard.

7. Data Processing & Storage

IngressWard may process and temporarily store prompt data for the purposes of:

• Filtering
• Normalization
• Abuse detection
• Service improvement

We do not sell your data.

8. Billing & Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription.

By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees.
• Provide accurate billing information.
• Allow automatic renewal unless cancelled.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Enterprise plans may be subject to separate agreements.

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages, and updates may occur.

10. Intellectual Property

IngressWard, its code, branding, and systems are the property of IngressWard.

You retain ownership of your content.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• You violate these Terms.
• You misuse the Service.
• Your activity poses risk to the platform or others.

You may cancel your account at any time.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IngressWard and its officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to:

• Indirect or consequential damages of any kind
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
• Business interruption or reputational harm
• Harm arising from content — malicious or otherwise — that was not detected or blocked by the Service
• Harm arising from content that was incorrectly flagged or blocked by the Service
• Security incidents, data breaches, or unauthorized actions resulting from prompt injection or other attacks that bypassed the Service
• Any reliance on the Service as a sole or primary security control

IngressWard's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to IngressWard in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim.

The limitations in this section apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if IngressWard has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IngressWard from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
